Tulle Lace No Quarter

Authentic French Lace - delicate and seductive - for lingerie or fascinator. Included in blouses, tops and dresses it sets striking emphasis without ever being intrusive. We believe no other material gives its wearer more elegance and sensuality.

The lace ground always constitutes a meshed fabric: tulle, which then gets "filled" with entwined threads. The developed lace pattern hold a specific depth effect that makes it so unique.

Authentic French Lace is labeled with the quality seal 'Dentelle de Calais-Caudry' and is also known as Calais-Lace or Leavers-Lace. Calais and Caudry are the locations in the north of France, where all along this special lace is being produced traditionally. Leavers stems from the man, who essentially invented the machines that are still used today to produce French Lace.

  • Maximum stiffness - springs back when folded, like paper, no drape.
  • Moderate stiffness - holds with volume when folded, no drape.
  • Moderate drape - collapses with some volume when folded, with slight drape.
  • Maximum drape - like fluid, collapses fully, with good drape, no stand.
